SBB head-on collision at Granges-Marnand not in ERTMS section

The head-on collission that occured yesterday at Granges-Marnard (Switzerland) between two local SBB passenger trains, occured on a conventional track, sources confirm. The accident happened at about 19:00 local time yesterday and left the train driver dead and approximately 35 passengers wounded out of 46 in total. The section was scheduled to be equipped with ERTMS in 2017.
